SCAD Pro x The Home Depot

This was a SCAD Pro team project that was collaborated with The Home Depot. We explored the unique challenges people face when completing DIY projects and set out to make their experiences easier and more successful. Using a strategy that mixed virtual and in-person solutions as well as updating existing resources within The Home Depot, we created a new end-to-end experience for customers. I was responsible for the overall Visual Design and UX/UI Design. I came up with the Contractor Finder idea, which became one of the final features.

How might we help customers have more immersive shopping experiences?

Our Solution

We explored the unique challenges people face when completing DIY projects, and we set out to make their experiences easier, and more successful. Using a strategy that mixed virtual and in-person solutions, as well as updating existing resources within The Home Depot, we created a new end-to-end experience for customers.

Re-imagining an interconnected shopping experience with The Home Depot Garage

With the Home Depot app’s new Garage feature, customers have one place to go for their entire DIY experience, from planning to buying, to building. As a new section in the app's main navigation, people have easy access to a singular resource that consolidates new and existing features to offer the best guidance for completing projects.
